Be ready to get messy, this is a fully hands-on experience!
This is a renewed version adapted to provide a safe environment to conduct the experience. The class will take place in a house with a backyard that allows for plenty of social distancing and ventilation, and is only offered for small groups up to 6 people.
In this experience, you’ll get to taste our famous herby hot beverage “mate” and alfajores, learn all about the rituals surrounding this practice, while allowing for some time to get to know each other. We’ll then start off with the cooking class in which I’ll teach you to make empanadas, both the dough and the filling from scratch. We’ll make a short break where you’ll get to try a typical picada, a traditional charcuterie board. Once we’ve finished with the cooking, we’ll enjoy the meal we’ve prepared together paired with Malbec red wine and great conversation. You’ll get to try an Argentine classic dessert.
I’ll accompany you on each and every step of the way, showing you the proper techniques and explaining a little bit of the history of the dishes and the different culinary traditions in the country. A fully hands-on experience!
