El Calafate Trip Overview
This must-see experience begins in El Calafate, to begin the journey to El Chaltén, a beautiful mountain town. During this tour we will make some stops at different panoramic points and a rest of a few minutes in the place La Leona.
Once in El Chaltén we continue the 36 km bus journey that separates us from the Desert Lake by a beautiful panoramic road with permanent images, between forests and bordering the Vueltas River.
Then, from the pier of Punta Sur we sail sighting the Huemul and Crestón glaciers to disembark in the Vespignani Glacier sector, which is located in the middle of the lake. Once there, you can choose to walk on foot some of the perfectly marked trails of the Vespignani Glacier Reserve according to the difficulty.
After a snack we embark back to arrive at the pier of Punta Sur. From there the bus takes us to your hotel in El Calafate.
