El Calafate Trip Overview
Through this tour, we can enjoy the principal and one of the most beautiful trek of this zone, that transport us to the base of the mytical mount Fitz Roy.
We will realize one stop in a panoramic point with view at the Fitz Roy. Then, we will go the path’s head, where we will start the pedestrian activity and we will walk into the forest, boarding the White River. After an hour of walking, we will be in a Mirador, with an excellent view at Piedras Blancas Glacier
In this point, we can take photographs and receive the information of the guide. After that, we will crossing the river by the Little pendant bridge to the Río Blanco Base Camp, that is only used by the climbers. From this point, the guide take us to the Laguna de los Tres’s Mirador, that from Río Blanco are 420 meters of ramp in one hour of trekking. We will enjoy the Fitz Roy’s view, the lagoon and its glaciers. Retornaremos to El Chaltén by the path that pass for the Mirador of Capri’s Lagoon.
