Itinerary
Day 1: El Calafate
Pass By: El Calafate, El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Morning transfer from Airport to hotel in El Calafate. On arrival to El Calafate transfer to Hotel.

Day 2: Big Ice excursion – Trekking on Perito Moreno Glacier
Stop At: Perito Moreno, Perito Moreno, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
The excursion begins in the embarking pier located in “Bajo de las Sombras” port, about 6 km before the glacier Balconies- wher e you embark for a 10 minutes navigation across the Rico Arm, enjoying breathtaking views of the Perito Moreno glacier’s front walls.
After checking the gear, we get ready, pick up the crampons and walk following the lateral moraine, for an hour and a half, until we reach the access to the glacier. After fitting harnesses and crampons on our footwear we start the ice trekking.
Back on the moraine we start our descent back to the port, to take the boat and navigate for 20 minutes, very close to the southern wall. We are glad to be able to offer one of the most spectacular Ice-hikes in the world.

Day 3: Glaciar Sur Adventure Excursion
Stop At: Lago Roca, Ruta Provincial 15 Final da RP 15 proximo à estância Nibepo AIke, El Calafate Argentina
The journey starts from El Calafate, going through a road full of ranches to Lago Ropa Camping, where you will hike through the woods up to the coast of the lake.

Stop At: Lago Argentino, El Calafate Argentina
You will take a boat ride up to the South of Argentino Lake. After a one hour hike up to Frias Lake you will take a 30 minutes ride in a Zodiac rubber boat to get to the other side of the lake where you will hike for one hour and a half towards Glacier Grande. During this hike there is a stop for lunch.

Day 4: Transfer to El Chalten & Afternoon Chalten Rafting Experience
Stop At: San Martín, El Chalten, Santa Cruz, Argentina
You will be transferred in a Van to El Chalten, time of travel will be approximately 3 hours. On arrival to chalten we will take you to your hotel to leave your staff.

Once you are ready for the tour the tour guides will receive you, give you information and give you the equipment to start the activities on the water. At the beginning you will be kayaking through 4km of calm, meandering waters with views of Fitz Roy on your back. Later you will be going into the canyon. After the first rapid, we will start going through many fun and exciting rapids that will make the raft shake! Ups and downs through 8 kms, will lead you and make you feel the strength of nature. The last two Km are very calm.

Day 5: Full Day Trekking Laguna de Los Tres
Stop At: Campamento Poincenot, Santa Cruz Province, Argentina
From el Chalten you will hike towards Poincenot Camping (4 hours) and then cross the White River. From there on, the trail starts ascending up to 400 meters until you reach Laguna de los Tres.

The trail ends in a Moraine with an extraordinary view of the lake and De los Tres Glacier. This is the closest view you will have of the Fitz Roy Mount and the surrounding sharp mountains. Going down the moraine you can surround the lagoon until its end, where you can also see Sucia Lagoon and its hanging glaciers!

Day 6: Full Day Trekking to Laguna Torre
Stop At: Laguna Torre, Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, El Chalten Argentina
This hike goes through the valley of the Fitz Roy River up to its origin: Torre Lagoon, located in the National Park. This trekking trail has a variety of panoramic viewpoints where you can watch Solo Mount, Adela Mountain and the stunning Torre Mount. Through the ride, you will also see Grande and Torre Glaciers. You will continue your hike bordering the river for 500 meters until you reach Torre Lagoon and its impressive view: Torre Glacier, Adela Mountain, Torre and Mocho Mount, Egger Tower, Standhart Bifida and Four Fingers Mounts.

Day 7: Pliegue del Tumbado Trekking Experience
Stop At: Sendero Loma del Pliegue Tumbado, Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, El Chalten Argentina
Another fantastic trek is to access a 360° viewpoint via a less used trail in the national park. From here we can appreciate the valleys of Fitz Roy, Torre and Toro, the Patagonian steppe and the vast Lake Viedma. In the last stretch of the trail we will be walking in a completely different mountain terrain; where we can spot its typical alpine flora, and if we can also search for marine fossils.

Stop At: Laguna Toro, Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, El Chalten Argentina
We leave El Chaltén on the footpath that heads towards Laguna Toro. Having w alked for about an hour in ascent and crossed over small streams and through some ñires and lengas woods, we arrive at an exposed area with a picture postcard view of Mount Fitz Roy, Torre and Huemul.
We continue the hike across the Pampas, locally called “Pampa de las Carretas”. Then, we pass through various parts of the woods in which we will be able to hear a variety of birds, inviting us to discover and identify various species of birds that live here. On leaving the forest (about 1000masl) we start to walk across an alpine terrain, where delicate flowers growing in such an arid area won’t fail to surprise us.
We finally arrive at the viewpoint. This spot offers an unique view of the Torre and Fitz Roy massifs. After enjoying lunch with an unforgettable vista we return to El Chaltén.
