Stop At: Siding Spring Observatory, Observatory Road, Coonabarabran, New South Wales 2357 Australia

On this 90 minute walking tour, you’ll stop and go inside the Visitors Gallery of Australia’s Largest Optical Telescope. This is the first stop at several of the telescopes that dot the ridgetop of Siding Spring Mountain. As you stretch your legs on the path heading to the highest point of the plateau, you’ll have time to take photos of the Warrumbungle National Park which sits magnificently beside the observatory.
The tour ends with a special sunset drink and some nibbles to share.
