First stop is a Private Property for a 3 course breakfast at a Davidson Plum and finger lime farm with stunning views, then to Nerada Tea Plantation for unique tea and local cheeses and Tree Kangaroo spotting. Lunch at the Platypus Park to watch them play and try Kangaroo, Crocodile and other delicacies Visit a working dairy farm and sample their chocolates, stop in for seasonal fruit tasting and Macadamia nuts. Then a tipple or 2 at Mt Uncle distillery, and last stop of the day at either Jaques Coffee or Skybury Coffee Plantations for coffee and tea with some delicious scones jam and cream. Sunset Ridge Farm

 A family owned and run business based on the top of the mountain range over looking green rolling hills lush rainforest and over looks a large part of the Tablelands with magnificent views.

They grow several different varieties of native fruits Davidson plum, Lemon aspen and Finger limes. We have a delicious breakfast made from these fruits and you can then purchase jams and marshmallows unique to the region.

Nerada Tea Plantation is situated on the scenic outskirts of Malanda. Here you will be tasting several of the Plantation grown, single origin teas, such as Plantation Fresh Black and Royal Devonshire, black tea with a hint of natural vanilla. The teas will be paired with a selection of local cheeses. Whilst enjoying your Tastings, you will be overlooking the lush fields of Australia’s largest Tea Plantation. Keep your eyes peeled as you might just spot one of the resident Tree Kangaroos too!

These wonderful creatures can be found in a spring fed pond, we take a wonder down to see them in this magnificent setting then sit down to a unique lunch. The lunch is produced onsite using their smoked products and include Crocodile, Red Claw (Yabby) Kangaroo, Smoked chicken and smoked Spanish Mackerel, the a choice of Platypus boutique beer or Dragon Fruit cider and a Lemon Myrtle tea.

Stop at ‘The Humpy’, the best place to go to for freshly harvested Atherton Tablelands produce straight from the growers. From vegetables to tropical fruits and hundreds of different varieties of nuts, dried fruits locally produced jams and sauces. Taste some seasonal fruits and many different flavours of hot local peanuts and macadamia nuts.

Next stop Jaques or Skybury Coffee Plantation. Both grow and roast Australian Arabica Coffee beans in the rich soils of the Tablelands.
Relax and take in the remarkable locations whilst learning the insight of the finer details of coffee from tree to cup. Enjoy a delicious cup made ’just as you like it’ and homemade scones with local jam and cream.
