St Mary’s by the Sea is the oldest and most picturesque church in Port Douglas. The church is non-denominational – meaning that there are no regular religious services held here – but there are various ceremonies which occur frequently such as christenings, funerals and, most popularly, weddings.

The Sugar Wharf is one of Port Douglas’s most iconic and historically significant landmarks. The structure has served many purposes over the years – predominantly concerning the transport of sugar – but now serves as a general event space for art exhibitions and public functions.

The Old Court House is the oldest building in Port Douglas and one of the oldest in the State of Queensland.
