Start your full day with a visit to Mt Lofty Lookout (Weather Permitting) and a short stop for coffee at Beerenberg Farm. Private Tour - in a small passenger vehicle. This is mostly a scenic tour through villages of Adelaide Hills and towns Hahndorf, Goolwa and Victor Harbour.
From your hotel you will go to Mt Lofty lookout to have a spectacular view over Adelaide plains. On the way to the first German settlement of Hahndorf you will be driven through a few villages and learn about their local culture.
After one hour spent in Hahndorf you will depart towards Goolwa where you have an opportunity to sit on a steam Cookle train and travel to Victor Harbour where your driver will meet you at the Victor Harbour train station. There are a few great experiences to do like visit Granite Island on a horse pulled tram, the Bluff lookout, etc. Please note Cockle Train and Horse pulled tram are optional experiences and tickets would be payable by you should you like to have.
On the way back we would stop at Alexandrina cheese factory.

Trek along the 2.5-mile (3.9-km) route at your pace, and pass tumbling waterfalls and shimmering streams. Along the way, admire the beautiful countryside for which Australia is famous and watch the treetops for sightings of sleepy koalas. At Mt Lofty’s high summit, enjoy rewarding views over the rugged terrain to coastal Glenelg and Port Adelaide. With return transport provided to/from the trail-head from Adelaide CBD.

This hike is graded as hard - it involves steep sections and uneven services and a good level of fitness and mobility is required.The total return walking distance is 7.8km.
