We visit the main tourist places of Barranquilla such as the El Prado neighborhood and its heritage houses, the Edgar Rentería baseball stadium, the Carnival House and Museum (where we take a guided tour), the old Customs building and the exhibition to the graffiti-free air, the Fluvial Intendancy, the 'Window to the World' and the Great Malecón del Río, from where you can appreciate the best view of the Magdalena River.

During the tour you will learn how Gabo lived in 1950 and the places that were part of his daily routine such as the New York Skyscraper, where he spent his nights, or the area where the Librería Mundo and Café Colombia were located, as we walk through the lively streets of Paseo Bolívar.

You will also visit the most emblematic sites of the city such as the church of San Nicolas; the Church 'Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro', where he got married to his wife; the Intendencia Fluvial, where the monument to the Yellow Butterflies is located; and the statue of Garcia Marquez, located in the Cultural Park of the Caribbean.

We will also tour the Prado neighborhood, one of the most traditional areas of the city and home to the famous El Prado hotel, known for its exquisite architecture and for being the place where Gabo and Mercedes first met.

Finally, we will finish at La Cueva restaurant, a place where Gabo used to meet with the famous Barranquilla Group.
