Aterro do Flamengo is a leisure complex in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It was built on successive landfills in Guanabara Bay. The park extends from Santos-Dumont Airport, in the Centro neighborhood, to the beginning of Botafogo Beach, in the south zone, with two distinct areas: the first, in the Glória neighborhood, hosts the Museum of Modern Art, the Monumento aos Dead of World War II, Marina da Glória, Memorial Getúlio Vargas, Cine Glória, Monument to Estácio de Sá, Vivo Rio concert hall, Avenida Infante D. Henrique, a restaurant and the small Praia da Glória, this region is called Parque Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes, which is the official name of the complex. The second, separated from the first by a small breakwater, is located in the Flamengo neighborhood, and has courts for the practice of sports, the Carmen Miranda Museum, Avenida das Nações Unidas and Praia do Flamengo, being properly called Parque Flamengo.
