What to Expect When Visiting Manaus, State of Amazonas, Brazil

Joshua’s Amazon Expeditions will be led you on an Amazon Jungle trip to the Amazon Floating Camp, located in a region about 80 km in a straight line from manaus in very islated place , where you can release by the sound of the jungle and explore the region by treking in a virgin area of rain forest . Itinerary

Day 1: Begin of the Trip

Pass By: Meeting of Waters, Rio Negro e Rio Solimoes, Manaus, State of Amazonas 69005-141 Brazil
Pick up at 08:00 at the hotel in town and begin the trip to the Jungle with the first stop at the Ceasa Port, where the group will get on board on a speed boat until the Catao Chanel to a fish farm of the Arapaima Giga (pirarucu ) where you will have the chance to fell the strength of the giant of the Amazon river, back on the boat we head to the Meeting of the Water ( Rio Negro & Solimoes ) After we continue to the small fishing village of career da Vazea where we will get on Minivan and drive through the Br 319 of the transamazonica high way and the part of the muddy road until the Parana do Mamori river, wherefrom the transportation will be by speed boat on the Amazon Floating Camp. Once you get to the lodge you will be accommodated in a private room. Lunch is served.

Pass By: Paraná do Mamori, State of Amazonas, Brazil
At 03:00 pm you will leave by a motorized boat, to explore the area looking for birds and other animals of the region among the river banks and channel, and once it gets dark watch the beautiful sunset before getting back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

• Lunch: Generally prepared with regional fresh fish, chicken, beef, beans, salads, rice, vegetables and fruits.
• Dinner: Generally prepared with regional fresh fish, chicken, beef, beans, salads, rice, vegetables and fruits.
Accommodation included: Accommodations at Amazon Floating Camp in private Rooms, with air condition and mosquito nets.

Day 2: Jungle trip

Pass By: Paraná do Mamori, State of Amazonas, Brazil
Breakfast is served at 07:00 am and after breakfast, the group will leave on a motorized boat to the spot to explore the area of the Amazon, where is an area great for spotting monkeys, sloths, birds, and other animals of that region. During the rainy season from (April to August) this trip is done by boat thru the forest. back to the Lodge for lunch.

Pass By: Paraná do Mamori, State of Amazonas, Brazil
At 03:00 pm the next activity is done by boat to look for river dolphins and Go fishing for Piranhas and learn more about this fish. back to the lodge for dinner. After dinner, the adventure continues by boat for the Caiman spot where it is done with a flashlight so that we can see the Caiman. back to the lodge overnight.

• Breakfast: Bread, eggs, cheese, ham, coffee, milk, tea, fruits and juice
• Lunch: Generally prepared with regional fresh fish, chicken, beef, beans, salads, rice, vegetables and fruits.
• Dinner: Generally prepared with regional fresh fish, chicken, beef, beans, salads, rice, vegetables and fruits.
Accommodation included: Accommodations at Amazon Floating Camp are in private rooms, with air-condition and mosquito nets.

Day 3: Jungle Trip

Pass By: Lago Tracajá – Murutinga, Autazes – AM, 69240-000, Brazil
wake up call at 05:30 to go out to see the sunrise and also a good opportunity to wake up on a new day with the sound of different animals of the region like monkeys and birds. Back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, the group leaves by boat to the spot to hike in the jungle where our guide will explain more about the Amazon rainforest and also so of the techniques of survival out in the jungle. Back to the lodge for Lunch.

Pass By: Manaus, Manaus, Amazon River, State of Amazonas
At 02:30 Pm the group departed back to Manaus with the arrival around 04:30 pm in the City.
