Beng Mealea temple is largely unrestored, with trees and thick brush thriving amidst its towers and courtyards and many of its stones lying in great heaps.

Banteay Srei is the unique temple which built from the pink sandstone in half of 10th century by Hindu King Rajendravarman II for dedicated to trinity Gods in Hindu mainly Shiva.

The Landmine Museum was founded by ex-child soldier Aki Ra as a way to tell the world about the horrors landmines had inflicted on his native Cambodian.

In the Preah Khan temple, we may bump into Lara Croft around and corner. Later, we can visit the Ta Prohm temple where the Tomb Raider movie was actually shot, but it’s usually packed with tourists.

In the afternoon, we will have lunch at the local restaurant before heading to Beng Melea, the mysterious 12th-century temple in the middle of the jungle. This temple is heavily overgrown with vegetation, trees, lianas, and mosses. This temple is surrounded by a rainforest due to it being abundant for over 300 years. When it is not fully restored, many local and international tourists fall in love with the area.

Then we continue to visit Banteay Srey, is known as the lady temple. Banteay Srey is a 10th-century dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Located 30 km north of Siem Reap city. Banteay Srei is built largely of red sandstone. The special charm of this temple lies in its remarkable state of preservation, small size and excellence of decoration.

These children lived at the museum for over 10 years. Aki Ra also started Cambodian Self-Help Deming, an NGO that clears landmines. Today, Cambodian Self-Help Demining has cleared 9,361,685 square meters of land and 255 minefields. Then we travel to Preah Khan; another temple with spectacular trees and roots taking over the ancient man made structures which would give Ta Prohm run for its money any day! Explore the delicate carvings and don’t miss the only two-story construction in Angkor; standing on high columns this is a unique phenomenon in Khmer architecture. Your knowledgeable guide will help you navigate through the temple grounds before continuing further.
