Kompong Khleang Floating Village Half-Day Small Group Tour

Siem Reap Trip Overview

A floating village call ( Kompong Khleang )  the most nicest place compare to other floating villages around siem reap, just about 1 hours’ drive from Siem Reap. You will pick up by a mini bus and our driver acted as guide as well.

To get to the boat ride, there was quite a long drive on an unsealed bumpy gravel and muddy road. We will get you a boat and will be interesting to see daily lives of the local living in their houses on stilts above the water. Apparently during the rainy season, the water can reach up to the floor level.

The boat ride takes us out to Tonle Sap Lake about 2 hours to visit around village’s flooded house then head back. You can decide to take a small detour to jump on a canoe ride to see the flooded forest which turned out to be a mangrove forest.

Overall a very interesting half day. An opportunity to see how some people live in a floating village.
