Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in a tuk-tuk and driven 15 minutes outside the city to the venue of your cooking class. Unlike a typical Traveling Spoon experience that takes place in a home, this unique experience with Chef Seav takes place at his restaurant in a lodge. The lodge is tucked away in a local village and is surrounded by a beautiful, natural garden. You will be greeted at the reception and then guided to the cooking station, set up in an open restaurant.

Enjoy a refreshing lime-infused drink while you chat with Chef Seav and learn more about him and Khmer cuisine. Next, join Chef Seav at the cooking station for your two-hour cooking class. Don an apron and chef’s hat and get ready to learn to make some local Cambodian dishes. Cook together an appetizer of spring rolls with peanut chili sauce or soup, a main dish of beef lok lak (stir fried beef) and a dessert of banana with sago in a coconut cream sauce. The two hours will fly by as you prep, chop, taste and stir ingredients for your 3-course Cambodian meal.

Enjoy your meal served in the lodge’s restaurant. Please note that there will be other guests at the restaurant but they will not join you at your table
