Day 1: Battam Bang Province Tour from Siem Reap Town

Stop At: Wat Ek Phnom, Battambang Cambodia
You will visit Wat Ek Phnom is an angkorian temple located on the left side of the Sangkae River at the small creek of Prek Daun Taev northwest the G Peam Aek spot approximately 9 km north of the city of Battambang in north western Cambodia. It is a Hindu temple built in the 11th century under the rule of king Suryavarman I. Although partly collapsed and looted it is famous for its well-carved lintels and pediments.

Visit Phnom Sapeuv see the sunset and watching the bats in the evening time before bats leave their home to find food at night time.

The name literally means loss of stick referring to a legend of Preah Bat Dambang Kranhoung (Kranhoung Stick King). Most people called Lok Ta Dambong Kra Nhoung.

You will have experience with bamboo train. The track is about 8km long and runs through the Cambodian country side. You can visit local village store and you can buy them some souvenir if you want to support their economy.
