Pass By: Rose Hall Great House, Rose Hall, Montego Bay Jamaica

Travelers will get to see the infamous haunted house where the white witch killed all three husbands and countless slave lovers The story will be told by the tour guide while travelers take photos of the Rose Hall great house.

Stop At: Rose Hall, Rose Hall, Montego Bay, Saint James Parish, Jamaica

Travelers will experience a scenic drive off the beaten path up into the hills of Rose Hall. The guide will show the travelers various plants, herbs and fruit trees while en route to the local community of Mt. Zion.

Mt. Zion is the very definition of a humble Jamaican community with just a few dwellings fan out across the hillside village, with a historical church which was build by the hands of slaves, and a primary school where travelers will get to see school children in there classes on a average day.

The tour guide will tell tourist about various heritage paintings found on the side of the school wall such as the national tree, the national fruit, the national animal etc.

Travelers will also visit the local corner shop where they can mingle with locals

Stop At: Scotchies, G4CP+GWR, Montego Bay, Jamaica

Travelers will get the first real taste of Jamaica when they get to sample authentic jerk chicken, jerk pork, rice and peas, festivals and bammy at the undisputed “best jerk center” on the island, Scotchies.

Stop At: Sam Sharpe Square, Montego Bay Jamaica

Sam Sharpe Square is the town center where travelers will get to see historic buildings and monuments depicting the liberal movements of Samuel Sharpe, a slave who fought for the emancipation of all slaves in Jamaica in 1832.

At Sam Sharpe Square, travelers will also get a chance to sample some delicious Jamaican patties.

Pass By: St James Parish Church, Payne Street, Montego Bay Jamaica

An historical eighteenth century Anglican Church built in 1774 but still operational today, will be pointed out by the tour guide. It sits along “Church street” in the city which is a street whos name was derived from the iconic Parish church.

Pass By: The Dome house, Dome St, Montego Bay, Jamaica

The Dome house is a quaint structure with its white wooden fixed louvres and yellow brick tower [London stock] was erected over the source of the creek in Montego Bay.
At first, the Dome was simply a rounded roof or covering for the water bubbling up at the head of the creek, but soon it came to play an important role in Montego Bay’s water supply.

The installation of the water pipe system in 1893, however, saw the decreased usage of the Dome but it has proved a great alternative in times of drought in earlier days.

Stop At: Mount Salem, Montego Bay, Jamaica

Travelers will be taken to the Community of Mount Salem where they will see the Cornwall Regional Hospital (pass by without stopping) which serves the entire western Jamaica with urgent medical care.

Travelling through the community of Mount Salem travelers will also experience how persons with a low income lives.
Our journey will also take us into the neighboring community of Catherine Mount where travelers will get to see how middle class persons live. Travelers will then enter another neighboring community Westgate Hills where the upper class persons live, finally there will be a stop at a local fruit vendor where travelers will get a chance to sample local exotic fruits.

Stop At: Sweet Spice Restaurant, Fairview Marketplace, Montego Bay, Jamaica

This is where travelers will get to sample more of Jamaica’s delicious and unique cuisines such as fry chicken, oxtail, curry goat, and Stew pork.

At this location travelers will also get to sample Jamaican rum made from the sugar cane and also sample some natural fruit juices.

Stop At: Hip Strip, Gloucester Avenue, Montego Bay Jamaica

Jimmy Cliff Blvd., more popularly known as the ‘Hip Strip’, is the pulsating epicenter of Jamaica’s tourism capital, Montego Bay.
With constant music and activity daily from daytime until well past nightfall, this is where the town’s most popular shops, nightclubs, restaurants, bars, and beach hangouts come alive with fun-seeking travelers.

The Hip Strip runs into the famous area where locals love to chill, “The dead end” here you can stand on the ocean wall and take beautiful photos to remember your time spent in Montego Bay, this will also bring us to the end of our tour.
