This wax museum is dedicated to the life and times of Pirates in The Bahamas and those who fought against them. There are dramatic recreations of battles with sound and light; a number of displays depicting the lives of pirates, their living quarters, tools and weaponry; how they were punished for indiscretions, including being marooned on a deserted island; in addition to plaques on the wall providing historical details of the era. There is also a gift shop on the premises.

The Nassau Botanical Gardens provide a tranquil retreat for nature-loving residents and visitors. It features 18 acres of tropical flora covering over 600 species, including the Bahamas national flower, the Yellow Elder.

This 1,280-acre park located on the south central coast of New Providence is an important marine nursery area. You can learn about mangroves while kayaking in this place.

The Lord Proprietors built the original building on this site in 1670, making it the first church built in The Islands Of The Bahamas. The present structure, built in 1841, is the fifth church that has occupied this spot. Every Wednesday and Friday, starting at 11:30 a.m., a living historical scene lets you step back in time and experience daily life in 18th-century Nassau. It features characters dressed in period costume, who exhibit basketweaving techniques, kitchen utensils used over 250 years ago, and fruits sold at the market. It culminates with the firing of the cannon at 12:00 noon.
