What to Expect When Visiting San Pedro de Atacama, Antofagasta Region, Chile

Itinerary
Day 1: Devil’s Throat Bike + Camping Tebenquiche Lagoon. San Pedro de Atacama
Stop At: Valle de Catarpe, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
The guide will pick up each passenger from 09hrs and the adventure on two wheels begins from Casa Sorbac, where we will take the necessary sports equipment. We will enter the Catarpe Valley, home to incredible postcards that mix vegetation and a geography of great contrasts. Then we will enter the famous Devil’s Throat, which will transport us to another planet during its 7 km journey. Finishing the route, we will go through the San Isidro chapel and depending on your capacity, we can make the ascent to the cornice through the old tunnel that connected San Pedro with the city of Calama. At the end of the guide, each passenger will be left at their respective accommodation.

Stop At: Salar de Atacama, Antofagasta Chile
The guide will pick up each passenger from 7:00 p.m. and the adventure will begin, a 50-minute journey to their first stop, Laguna Tebenquiche, recognized as the ecosystem that gives rise to life. We set up our camp in the middle of the Salar with a beautiful sky above us. We enjoyed the night in the desert

Day 2: Continuation of Camping Laguna Tebenquiche
Stop At: Salar de Atacama, Antofagasta Chile
The next day we have a rich breakfast in a beautiful refuge contemplating the lagoon and the nature of the Salar. At the end of the guide, each passenger will be left at their respective accommodation.

Day 3: Lascar Volcano Trekking
Stop At: Laguna Lejia, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
The guide will pick up each passenger from 5:30 a.m. and the adventure will begin, a 90-minute journey to their first stop. Laguna Lejia there they will have breakfast, with a simply spectacular view of the Pili, Sinbad and Lascar volcanoes, this will help them to have an acclimatization prior to Ascension

Stop At: Lascar Volcano, San Pedro de Atacama 1240000 Chile
The ascent to the most active volcano, in the northern sector of our
country, is one of the most famous and exciting challenges in Atacama. A climb of between 3 and 4 hours, with a difference of 600 meters in less than 5 kilometers to reach the summit. Depending on the conditions of the team and the top we enjoy the peace and energy that this place gives us. A descent of approximately 2 hours.
At the end of the guide, each passenger will be left at their respective accommodation.
