Pass By: San Pedro de Atacama, San Pedro de Atacama, Antofagasta Region

We will leave at 8 AM from our selected hotels in Atacama to visit the Pukara de Quitor first.

Stop At: Pukara de Quitor, 3 km Northwest of the Town of San Pedro de Atacama, San Pedro de Atacama 1410000 Chile

This pukara was built in the 12th century, and was an important defensive fortress of the Atacamean culture.

Stop At: Aldea de Tulor, Avda Tulor S/N Aylllu de Coyo, San Pedro de Atacama Chile

We will go out to the Ayllus, which are a social system of subsistence and community work. Passing the farthest ayllus we will reach the Archaeological village of Tulor, which was built approximately 3000 years ago and could be preserved because it was buried by sand.

Here we can get a more accurate view of what life was like in the Ayllus, while we see its circular rooms connected to each other and with a common patio.
