Itinerary

It is located within the Villarrica National Park, Cordillera De Los Andes – Araucanía. In it you can find an Andean Caducifolio forest composed mainly of Nothofagus species (Lengas, Coigues, Ñires, Robles, Raulíes), mixed with an ancient millennial forest of Pewen (Araucaria araucana), being this home to large numbers of wildlife and bird species that you can see and hear during your tour (Wed-Wed, Chucao, Traro, Pitio, Black Carpenter, Tintica, Lettuce, etc.). This trail covers 4 Andean lagoons (Quillelhue, Escondida, Huinfiuca and Verde). Laguna Verde is located at the foot of the Lanín Volcano that reaches the maximum height of the Araucanía Region. As you progress and gain height on the path, you can witness the geographical-landscape change, leaving a leafy millenary forest to enter an arid volcanic sand, from there you can admire much of our majestic Cordillera De Los Andes.
