Our tour will begin with a visit to the Ahu Vaihu and Akahanga, and then continue to the Rano Raraku volcanic crater, where we will learn its historical importance. The tour continues to the Ahu Tongariki, considered the most amazing Ahu on the island, and then to the Ahu Te Pito Kura, which has the largest statue. The walk is completed with a relaxing afternoon in Anakena.

Stop At: Ahu Akahanga, Easter Island, Valparaíso, Chile

We will begin our visit by visiting the Ahu Vaihu and Akahanga, temples composed of platforms or stone altars where assemblies of pukaos or moais are gathered. the Ahu Vaihu is framed by cliffs where ocean waves break, giving it an impressive appearance. The Ahu Akahanga area has not been restored and allows us to see the state in which the island was found by the first explorers.

We will continue traveling towards Rano Raraku, a volcanic crater formed by the solidification of the ash, and containing a lagoon inside. in this place, the moais were carved, and there are 397 sculptures still unfinished.

Stop At: Ahu Tongariki, Easter Island Chile

Then we will visit Ahu Tongariki, a 200-meter long ceremonial platform that has 15 huge moais. We will also visit Ahu Te Pito Kura where the Moai Paro is located, which is 10 meters high and weighs 85 tons. In this place, we will also find a large spherical stone that is identified as the navel of the world, called “Te Pito or Te Henua”.

Finally, we will end our day resting in Anakena, the most popular beach on the island. In addition to its natural beauty, we can appreciate a long line of Moais that turn their backs on the sea, which makes it unique. Here we can enjoy our box lunch.

After lunch, we will end our trip by returning to our selected hotels.
