Stop At: Farellones, Farellones, Santiago Metropolitan Region

Come join us on our mountain adventure and enjoy a beautiful day in one of the most pristine parks in the Andes Mountains. Only one hour from Santiago you will step into the magical world of pine trees, wild streaming rivers with blue melted glacier water, and extraordinary wildlife.  Yerba Loca Nature Sanctuary has its own ecological system due to its unique geographical location in a valley surrounded by the slopes of the Andes. Numerous eagles reside in the park and on a good day we may even spot a Chilean condor.  While at the park, stroll around the natural beauty of the base camp of Villa Paulina, or your guide can take you on a fun hike.  Experience crossing a crystal-clear river of glacier water barefoot!  Afterwards, we will go to a small rustic roadside restaurant to try some delicious traditional Chilean food and drink, such as “empanadas” and “mote con huesillo”.
