Itinerary

Day 1: Beijing to Xian

Stop At: Beijing West Railway Station, No.118, Lian Hua Chi East Rd Fengtai District, Beijing 100036 China
In the evening, you’ll be picked up from your Beijing hotel and taken to the train station for an overnight train ride to Xi’an. You’ll be treated to the Soft Sleeper accommodation, which features comfortable, spacious living spaces with soft bunk beds.

Day 2: Xi’an City Highlight

Stop At: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Qinling North Road, Lintong District, Xi’an 710600 China
Your train will arrive in Xi’an in the morning, and you’ll be taken to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, your second day begins with a fascinating tour of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses the Terracotta Army (or the Terracotta Warriors and Horses). This amazing archaeological site features a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Your guide will explain that these figures are buried with the emperor to protect him in his afterlife.

Stop At: Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta), Enci Temple The southern part of Yata Road, Yanta District, Xi’an 710061 China
At midday, have lunch and then return to Xi’an in the afternoon for a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist pagoda built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty. Explore the interior with your guide and learn how this religious site’s purpose was to house Buddha figurines that were brought to China from India.

Stop At: Muslim Quarter, West of Bell Drum Towers Square , Beilin District, Xi’an 710000 China
Enjoy an evening tour of the Muslim quarter. Pass shops selling various kinds of local Shaanxi produce, arts and crafts, and stop by a local restaurant carefully chosen by your guide to enjoy a dinner of Muslim specialties.

Day 3: Xi’an City Highlight – Beijing

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be taken on a morning tour of the Ancient City Wall, a wall stretching around the entire city that was erected in the 14th century by Ming Dynasty rulers. Observe gates, tunnels, watch towers and battlements and learn about the significance of these structures from your guide.

Next, visit the Shaanxi History Museum, one of the first large state museums with modern facilities in China. Browse interesting cultural and historical relics – the museum displays more than 300,000 items – including murals, paintings, pottery and coins, as well as bronze, gold and silver objects.

Stop At: Xianyang International Airport Co., Ltd. Security Inspection Station, Kong Gang Nan Yi Lu, Weicheng Qu, Xianyang Shi, Shaanxi Sheng, China
