Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China

Your private guide and driver will meet you in the lobby of your Beijing hotel at 08.00 and transfer you to Tiananmen Square. After a brief orientation of Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest city center square, you will walk through Tiananmen Tower main entrance and visit the Forbidden City.

Your guide will accompany you to enter the Forbidden City. Your visit includes not only part of most visited buildings and chambers, but also a special visit to other private buildings such as the Treasury and the Instruments museum. Your guide will escort you slowly through this spectacular site explaining about its history and the different buildings you will see. The visit will last at least 3 hours.

Following your visit, you will transfer to the Royal Ice house Restaurant. Here you will enjoy your lunch in the surroundings of a private and enclosed courtyard that is part of a building erected during the Ming Dynasty for storing blocks of ice for cooling during the summer months. Your lunch will consist of Old Beijing cuisine.

After lunch, you will have relax tour of Beihai Park, which is one of the best-preserved ancient Royal Gardens in China, opened to the public in 1925. The park covers an area of 71 hectares, with 388,666 sq meters of water area and 320,000 sq meters of land area. This royal garden was designed with full of rich fantasy artistic conception and realized this imagination by building various temples, bridges,lake, Island, pavilion and Nine Dragon Screen in the Garden.

At the end of your visit to Beihai Park you will be returned to your hotel where your tour ends.

P.S If Tiananmen Square is closed because of China National Day celebration or some other reasons , we will arrange you to visit Jingshan Park. Jiangshan Park is a private Royal Garden, where your guide will lead you up to Wanchun Pavilion at the top of one of five peaks in the park. The spectacular view from this vantage point will give you a bird’s-eye view of the Forbidden City.
