Your tour will start from a pickup from your accommodation in downtown Beijing at 17:00, meet your private guide and begin your evening tour of Tiananmen Square and around.

Just off Qianmen Street lies the expansive Lao She Teahouse, named for the novelist and dramatist Lao She (1899-1966), one of the leading Chinese writers of the twentieth century. His play Teahouse became a popular TV series in China.
Soak up the atmosphere in the teahouse, which has an elegant but unfussy style that feels like a return to Beijing life in the glory days of the 1930s. Enjoy a traditional show, which might be acrobatics or Beijing opera, sip authentic Chinese tea, and sample local desserts.
