Day 1: Arrive in Jiayuguan

Upon arrival, you will be met at airport and transferred to visit Jiayuguan Fort, which was built in 1372. It took 168 years from the initial construction to its completion. Jiayuguan Fort was the most dangerous one among the thousands of forts along the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty. It has been well preserved so far.

Then visit Jiayuguan Museum of the Great Wall, the first museum in China dedicated to the history and culture of the Great Wall.

Stop At: Great Wall at Jiayuguan Pass, Southwest of Jiayuguan, Jiayuguan 735100 China
Go ahead to visit the Overhanging Great Wall. It got the name for riding on a mountain ridge that is 45 degrees from vertical and resembling a huge dragon.
After the tour you will be transferred to your hotel in downtown Jiayuguan.

Day 2: Depart Jiayuguan
Stop At: Xincheng Mural Tombs of Wei and Jin Dynasty, Gobi Desert, Xincheng Town, Jiayuguan 735106 China
This morning you will visit the First Pier of the Great Wall, which is the southernmost pier of the Great Wall in the west of Jiayuguan, and the westernmost pier of the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty.
Continue the tour to visit Tombs of Wei and Jin Dynasty, a big tomb group with more than 1,000 tombs which were built between the third and fifth century, covering an area of almost 130,000 square kilometers.
After the tour you will be transferred to airport for your flight departure.
