What to Expect When Visiting Xi’an, Shaanxi, China

Xian is a historical city with many cultural sites to visit. This private day tour will let you visit Hanyang Mausoleum Museum, Small Goose Pagoda, and Xingjiao Temple with a local guide.

Itinerary

Stop At: Han Yang Ling Museum, East Section of International Airport Line, Weicheng District, Xianyang 712038 China

At 8:30am, you will be picked up from your centrally located Guangzhou hotel lobby, then head to Hanyang Mausoleum. It is a museum for both mausoleum and the relics exhibition for the emperor Liu Qi and his wife in Han Dynasty. The mausoleum was built in 126BC.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Small Goose Pagoda, No.72 Youyi Road, Beilin District, Xi’an 710068 China

Then you will head to the Small Goose Pagoda that was built from 707-710AD in Tang Dynasty. This pagoda is different from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and quieter due to less tourists. It is also where the Xian City Museum is situated(close on Monday).

Stop At: Xingjiao Temple, Shaxi, Sideng Street, Shaxi Town, Jianchuan County 671302 China

Then you will head to Xingjiao Temple, which was built in 669AD in Tang Dynasty in memory of the famous monk Xuanzang. The temple is consisted of the praying hall, sutra tower, and pagodas etc. It is a site of the cultural heritage of he Silk Road.
Later you will be transferred back to your hotel where the tour concludes.
