Meet your private guide in the lobby of your hotel at 08.30 and transfer by air-conditioned car to Xi’an Museum.

Xi’an was named as Chang’an in China ancient time and it had been the capital of 13 dynasties such as Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang etc. As the start of “Ancient Silk Road”, Xi’an had been the first international Metropolis in history of China. Till now, Xi’an Museum collects more than 110,000 pieces of cultural relics and 2000 of them are on display, covering bronze wares, jade wares, gold and silver wares, porcelains, stone scriptures, inscription on tablet, seals ,rare bookings, miscellaneous wares.

Adjacent to the Xi’an Museum, there are Jianfu Temple and Small Wild Goose Pagoda was built in Tang Dynasty about 1300 years ago. Jianfu Temple as royal temple in Tang Dynasty had been one of three major sites for translation of Buddhist scriptures in Chang’an and later 13-story Small Wild Goose Pagoda was built for reception and storage in Buddhist scriptures.

Stop At: Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang), Zhongxin District, Xi’an 710001 China

Before lunch, visit the ancient Ming Dynasty City Walls built over 600 years ago. The Xian City Walls are the best preserved in the whole of China and a fine example of Ming Dynasty fortifications. The wall is rectangular with a total length of 14 kilometer with watchtowers, corner towers, gate towers and parapet walls. The wall is 12 meters high affording a good view of the surrounding city and there is a walkway all the way around up to 14 meters wide in places. For the energetic, a walk completely around the walls would take about 4 hours.

After lunch, you continue your visit to the Xian Muslim Quarter, an area of several blocks very close to the city center and home to around 20,000 Muslims. Xian was the eastern end of the ancient Silk Road trading route and the Muslim community in the city started to grow from that ancient time. There are around ten mosques in this area, but the most important is the Great Mosque in Huajue Lane. Also worth a visit is the Beiyuanmen Muslim Street and market just to the north of the Drum Tower, a 500 mt long twisting lane way with stores along both sides and selling everything from hand-made Muslim food to Muslim Prayer Mats and other souvenirs.

After the end of your visit to the Muslim Quarter you will be transferred back to your hotel and the end of your tour.
