Stop At: Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, No.36 Meizhou Road, Qingpu District Zhujiajiao Town, Shanghai 201713 China
Found nearly 1,700 years ago, Zhujiajiao is a village unlike any other. Like many of its 60,000 inhabitants, you’ll have the option of exploring the village by foot (with an English- speaking guide) or by canal boat (not included), seeing some of the 36 stone bridges and ancient buildings, as well as purchase souvenirs from local shop.
Please Note: For Zhujiajiao, you have the option of exploring the village by foot or by taking a canal boat tour; however, the cost of the canal boat tour is not included in the tour.

Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China
Following lunch (additional cost), you return to the city center and trek the culturally significant Bund waterfront. With nearly three miles of waterfront buildings dating to the 1930s and 40s, the Bund was home to many international financial and commercial centers. Today, it is a popular area for tourists and locals alike to walk about, shop, and appreciate the architectural history.
Next, you’ll encounter the famed Peace Hotel, overlooking the Huangpu River. Originally built by Victor Sassoon in 1929, it was the first skyscraper in Asia and home to many festive jazz events prior to the advent of communism.
Soon after, you’ll reach the Jiangnan Silk Museum to learn and see how the famous fabric is produced. Upon hearing silk history and seeing the craftwork, there is an opportunity to purchase authentic silk goods.
