Stop At: Former French Concession, Puxi Central, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200000 China

Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 09:00 a.m.. Then, we will transfer to Former French Concession area and start the highlight tour.
We will walk through Former French Concession and Fuxing Park to see the locals do morning exercises.

Sinan Road is a famous French-style road in Former French Concession Shanghai. There are about twenty garden houses on both sides of the street that are representative of almost all the residential styles of Shanghai in the early 20th century. There are boutique hotels, apartment hotels and enterprise mansions. Moreover, there are a variety of restaurants, bars, coffee houses, tea houses, as well as a large number of clubs, convention centers, showrooms, cultural salons, designer shops and recreational parks. The Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen is a two-storey European-style building. Sun Yat-sen, also named Sun Wen, is the great forerunner of the Chinese democratic revolution, the founder of the Republic of China and the respected contributor to Chinese modern history.

Nanjing Road is considered to be the ‘No. 1 commercial street in China’, which has been a landmark for this city for a long time. Along its 5.5 kilometers, you will find over 600 shops that on average are visited by some 1.7 million people each day. Here, you can purchase everything wanted, spanning from special and cheap souvenirs to the luxurious world famous brands. You can also visit the surrounding neighborhoods and the thinnest building.
The thinnest in Ningbo Road is known as Paper Building(纸片楼).
The building was once reported by British Daily Mail, stated as perhaps the world’s flattest and thinnest building. Standing in the front of the the building at 30°it just looks like a piece of paper. The old house had four floors, not all that thin; it takes the shape of triangular polygon. This novel and strange building still has a large number of residents.

Then, we will walk to Huanghe Road. There is a street filled with great little eateries, definitely a good place for a quick bite. According to your preference, your guide will recommend a place to eat, which could be a small local eatery or elegant cuisine restaurant.
After lunch, we will visit the oldest temple – Longhua Temple.

Longhua Temple is the oldest temple in Shanghai for its long history of over 1,700 years. The visitor here having marveled at the city’s modern architecture and historical sites. Besides its long history, Longhua Temple is the largest temple in Shanghai. It occupies an area of over 20,000 square meters (five acres) and the architectural proportion is about 5,000 square meters (1.2 acres). The whole courtyard was built strictly in the style of traditional Buddhist symmetry and it’s in accordance with the Chinese concept of beauty.

Then, we will transfer to Pudong New Area, walk along Lujiazui Ring Bridge and visit the Oriental Pearl Tower.

Once the tallest building in Shanghai, the Oriental Pearl Tower remains one of the most recognizable skyscrapers in Pudong, part of the skyline visible from The Bund. The sci-fi-esque 1,535-foot (468-meter) tower houses observation platforms, a glass-bottomed walkway, rotating restaurant, as well as the Shanghai History Museum in its basement.
The Oriental Pearl Tower’s facade is impossible to miss during a Shanghai visit. Then, We will walk into the Oriental Pearl Tower, learn Shanghai’s history in the Municipal History Museum which is located in the tower’s pedestal, take an elevator up to glass-bottomed sightseeing floor and see the views from the observation decks.
