Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China

Your tour guide will be welcoming you at your hotel at 09:00 a.m.. Then, we will transfer to the Bund by Metro and start thewonderful Shanghai tour. We will walk along the Bund and later visit the sightseeing tunnel and watch the lightshow.
The Bund is a famous waterfront on the west bank of Huangpu River and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Here, the charm of Shanghai as a bustling metropolis combining the century-old history and flourishing future is fully presented, making the Bund Shanghai a must-see attraction. We will see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles at the Bund.

Bund Sightseeing Tunnel, the first visitor tunnel under Huangpu River in China, connects the Bund and Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone. It just takes 3-5 minutes to travel through the tunnel, passengers can appreciate fascinating visual effects with a variety of sounds accompany them. Driverless carriages are used, and passengers have a wide vista from them. This enables the passengers to feel they are transported an “explorer”.

Visit the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium and admire the large collection of aquatic life.
Shanghai Ocean Aquarium is located in Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone in Pudong District. One of the largest ocean aquariums in the world, it has the world’s longest submarine viewing tunnel measuring 155 meters in length. The submarine viewing tunnel enables visitors to have a wonderful tour here.
Shanghai Ocean Aquarium consists of two pyramid-shaped buildings – a main building and an annexe. The main building is divided into different exhibition zones: China Zone, South America Zone, Australia Zone, Africa Zone, Southeast Asia Zone, Cold Water Zone, Polar Zone, Sea and Shore, Deep Ocean Zone and Special Exhibitions. The exhibits include more than 300 types and 15,000 water creatures and rare fishes, such as poison dart frogs, jellyfishes, moonfish, leafy sea dragons and emperor penguins.

Visit Old Shanghai and the Yu Garden.
Yu Garden is the largest of Shanghai’s ancient gardens with Ming and Qing architectural styles. Yu Garden is small in size, but it contains all elements that a classical Chinese garden should have. The pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters all have unique characteristics. The garden has six areas, each with its own style. The Grand Rockery, in the center of the Garden, is the most renowned sight. You can walk to the Zigzag Nine Bend Bridge. Chinese people believe that the number nine symbolizes auspiciousness. Walking across the Bridge is said to bring people good luck. The Bridge leads to Mid-Lake Pavilion Teahouse, which is the oldest teahouse in Shanghai.

The Old Town God Temple of Shanghai, with far-reaching history, attracts a lot of tourists from all over the world to visit. The Old City God Temple is most famous for its local snacks, and as such is a real kingdom of delicious food with many different kinds of restaurants spread along the streets.

The south is dominated by modern architecture. The north is dominated by Shikumen old buildings. Composed of Shikumen and modern architectural style, now it has become a hot and fashionable pedestrian street in the center of the city. Actually, it stands for the popular and leisurely life style of this city’s new generation. The outdoor cafés, bars and romantic restaurants can be seen everywhere.
