Stop At: Jade Buddha Temple, 170 An Yuan Road, Shanghai China
Your tour guide will meet you at exit of the airport with the welcoming board on which your name will be written at 08:30 a.m.. Then, we will transfer to Jade Buddha Temple and start layover tour.
The Jade Buddha Temple is an active monastery and one of the most popular temples in Shanghai. Visit to see the site’s two beautiful jade Buddhas as well as the vast collection of statues, relics, and art.
Although the history of the Jade Buddha Temple is not very long, the old-time and classical architectural style makes it unique and inimitable in this modern city. The Jade Buddha Temple is a good place to go whether you are a Buddhist or not, the peaceful and transcendent atmosphere adds a kind of richness to our busy modern society.

Shanghai Silk Museum follows after lunch,covering an area of 6000 square meters, it is located in Huangpu District and aims to promote the development of Chinese silk culture and industry. China is the world’s largest silk producer. The vast majority of Chinese silk originates from the mulberry silkworms.
The museum includes showing the miraculous silkworm planting, the elegant silk exhibition hall, the rich silk reeling production and the exquisite silk production.

Xintiandi is a tourist attraction that preserves the historical and cultural features of Shanghai and integrates Chinese and western culture. Xintiandi is divided into northern and southern parts. The south is dominated by modern architecture. The north is dominated by Shikumen old buildings. Composed of Shikumen and modern architectural style, now it has become a hot and fashionable pedestrian street in the center of the city. Actually, it stands for the popular and leisurely life style of this city’s new generation. The outdoor cafes, bars and romantic restaurants can be seen everywhere.

It is an old shikumen house built in the 1920s that has been preserved and renovated. The museum was built according to the model of one household in the 1920s. There are seven main exhibition rooms, namely, the guest room, the study room, the old people’s room, the master room, the daughter room, the pavilion room and the oven room. The story of a shikumen family runs through the whole visit. It not only shows the unique shikumen architectural culture of Shanghai, but also reproduces the living space and lifestyle of Shanghai people in those days.
Nowadays, the museum is a good place for us to cherish the memory of old Shanghai and trace the historical memory.
Then, we will stroll around Nanjing Road and explore surrounding communities and the thinnest building.

Nanjing Road is considered to be the ‘No. 1 commercial street in China’, which has been a landmark for this city for a long time. Along its 5.5 kilometers, you will find over 600 shops that on average are visited by some 1.7 million people each day. Here, you can purchase everything wanted, spanning from special and cheap souvenirs to the luxurious world famous brands. You can also visit the surrounding neighborhoods and the thinnest building.
The thinnest in Ningbo Road is known as Paper Building(纸片楼).
The building was once reported by British Daily Mail, stated as perhaps the world’s flattest and thinnest building. Standing diagonally in the front of the the building, it just looks like a piece of paper. The old house had four floors, not all that thin; it takes the shape of triangular polygon. This novel and strange building still has a large number of residents.
Then, we will transfer to Pudong to see Shanghai’s financial district and visit Oriental Pearl Tower.

As a new and bustling district, Pudong offers visitors some of the most modern attractions, businesses, skyscrapers and shopping malls, all featuring the latest in entertainment, technology and fashion.
We will walk along Lujiazui Ring Bridge which is good place to photograph skyscrapers.

Stop At: Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu), No. 1 Century Avenue, Pudong New Area, Shanghai 200120 China
Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai. This 468 meters high tower is the world’s sixth and China’s second tallest TV and radio tower. However, even more alluring than its height is the unique architectural design that makes Oriental Pearl Tower one of the most attractive places anywhere.
The Oriental Pearl TV Tower consists of three main full-scope sightseeing spheres. Each of these spheres offers an observation deck. Visitors can enjoy the breathtaking view of Shanghai at different heights. We will take an elevator up to glass-bottomed sightseeing floor at 259 meters and the main sightseeing floor at 263 meters. It is memorable to walk on it and enjoy panoramic view of the Huangpu River and buildings on both sides of the river. If the weather is nice enough, you have a chance to see a spectacular sunset.
Afterwards, enjoy comfortable transfer back to airport to catch your flight or your hotel. Wrap your memories and say good-bye.
