Dubrovnik magnificent city Was with it’s fortresses, Fort of St. Lawrence, Island of Lokrum circumnavigation with it’s landmarks and stories, Lazareti (first quarantine in the World), 16th century Breakwater, Dubrovnik Republic Navy Arsenals
Pass By: Lokrum Island, Dubrovnik 20 000 Croatia
Circumnavigation of Lokrum Island, it’s Landscape marks. You will see the Royal Fortress but in 1806 by the Napoleon Army and finished later on by Austro Hungarian Army. Benedictine Monastery from 11th century is visible from the boat as well it’s tall bell tower which was used as a signaling point to the another point on the shore we shall visit later. Island Lokrum has no sand beaches but it is still very popular sunbathing and swimming area. There is a part reserved for the nudists we shall pass by.
We shall pass small port of Lokrum with Maximilian of Habsburg gardener house so to see beautiful landscapes including the monument built in 1862 as a memory to sunken Austro Hungarian war ship when many crew members were drowned.
