Coastal Pearls of the Istrian Peninsula – private tour from Opatija

Opatija Trip Overview

Join me for the very best of Istria: at first we start for a beautiful panoramic ride along the Adriatic sea and the eastern Istrian coast. After a bit less than 2 hours we plan our arrival to PULA, a city best known for it’s ancient Roman remains including an excellent preserved Roman Amphitheater from the 1st century. It’s also a city with a coexistence of different architectural time periods in the largest town of Istria.

From here we continue to ROVINJ, one of the most picturesque little seaside towns with high Venetian influence. Here we plan to stroll through the town, explore it’s narrow streets of the old town all the way to the church peaking from the top of the island-town.

After some time for exploring and meal on your own we continue to POREČ, town best known not only for the Roman layout which remains to this date and beautiful Venetian villas, but also for the best preserved 6th century basilica with valuable mosaics and remains from a former church, added to UNESCO
