Stop At: 23273, Ošljak, Croatia
Island Ošljak, also called Lazaret. Lazarets (after St Lazare, the protector of the sick) were the oldest hospitals for the isolation of leprosy and plague patients. Lazareti were established in ports to carry out quarantine measures. Today it is inhabited by one family only, and it is still a heaven and a refuge from the stress of everyday modern life.
There are many beaches where you can swim, and also nice hiking trail around the island

Stop At: Galovac (Školji), Preko, Croatia
Galevac (also called Školjić by locals), just 85 m from Preko village; when tide is low you can actually walk to it. In the middle of the Island there is a monastery and little church of St. Paul from 15 century. It is the smallest inhabited island of the Adriatic coast and beautiful example of traditional architecture

Preko is a quaint little village on the island of Ugljan just opposite Zadar. For those willing you can climb the hill above the village where you can enjoy the breathtaking view from sv. Mihovil [St. Michael], a fortress from the 11th century. Kornati National park can be best viewed from here. However, climb is steep and it will take you at least 1 h – alternative is to hire bikes localy..
