What to Expect When Visiting Los Melones, La Altagracia, Dominican Republic

Stop At: Cotubanama, Higüey 23000, Dominican Republic
Bayahibe is the starting point of the excursion.
We leave for Cotubanama National Park! A short stop in front of the Penon where our English-speaking guide will give you explanations about this cliff and the Taino natives.
To continue we will stop at the mangroves.

Stop At: Canto De La Playa, Dominican Republic
Next stop will be at Canto de la playa, the most virgin beach of Saona Island where we will spend 2h30 snorkeling or relaxing.

After these marvelous moments let’s go to Mano Juan for a Dominican lunch.
After lunch, we will make a short visit of the typical fishermen village and its turtle nursery (depending on season, we cannot guarantee to see them).

To top it off, we’ll go to the famous natural pool where we’ll be able to see the huge starfish, have an aperitif in the turquoise Caribbean water and enjoy a wonderful moment together.
Return to the port of Bayahibe with beautiful memories, where your transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
