Stop At: Cairo Citadel, Salah Salem St, Cairo 11511 Egypt

• Our first stop of the day is the Citadel Constructed in 1176 by the famous Egyptian king Saladin El Ayouby, the citadel has become a popular tourist attraction and landmark of Cairo. The site hosts many interesting structures, such as the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the military museum, and the structure of the Citadel itself is quite remarkable.

Stop At: Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan, Maydan Salah al-Din, Cairo 11511 Egypt

• Our second stop is the Sultan Hassan Mosque, constructed in the middle of the 14th century, it is one of the most breathtaking Islamic buildings in Egypt. The mosque features a beautifully ornamented dome situated over the tomb of the establisher of the complex, Sultan Hassan.

Stop At: Al Rifai Mosque, Cairo Egypt

• Our third visit is to the Rifai Mosque, established by Khoshiar Hanem, the Mother of Khedive Ismail. The mosque is has been open to the public since the beginning of the 20th century as having the tombs of the royal family of Mohamed Ali in Egypt. With its huge size, marvelous architecture and decorations, it is no less charming than its neighbor, the Sultan Hassan Mosque.

Stop At: Mosque of Sultan Al-Ashraf Barsbay, Muizz Street El-Gamaleya, Cairo 11511 Egypt

• Our last visit will be to the Tombs of the Mamluks. Established mainly at the beginning of the 14th century, this historical burial site contains some amazing funerary complexes constructed by the Mamluks in Egypt, including the Mosque of Qaitbey, the Complex of Sultan Ashraf Baresbay, and the Complex of Faraj Ibn Barquq.
