Itinerary
Day 1: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and The Egyptian Museum
Stop At: Giza, Giza, Giza Governorate
Arrival: By your arrival, you’ll be met and assisted by Amazon Tour Egypt representative at the airport and transported in air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo.
– The Egyptian Museum: Start your first full day with a visit to the Egyptian Museum in central Cairo. See the largest and most precious assortment of Egyptian art in the world. Boasting a rare collection of 5,000 years of antiquities, with over 250,000 artifacts. Among the exhibits you can visit there are the relics of Tutankhamen’s treasures of gold and jewelry, which were enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before their excavation in the 1920s.
– Giza Pyramids & Sphinx: Continue with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and explore the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. Get a closer look at the Great Sphinx, the huge funeral complex that is guarded by the legendary statue of a lion’s body and face of King Chephren.
– Sleeper Train to Aswan: After that, you will be transferred to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner will be served on board the train with sleeper accommodation.

Day 2: Aswan
Stop At: Aswan, Aswan, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
– Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast on the train before your arrival in Aswan.
Arrival to Aswan: By your arrival, you’ll be met and assisted by Amazon Tour Egypt representative at the station and transferred to your hotel for check-in, then you will start your full-day tour.
– The Temple of Philae: You will sail by traditional Egyptian transport to the island of Agilkia to visit the temple complex, which was removed from its original site after it lay submerged for most of the year under the waters of Lake Nasser. The main Temple of Isis and its monuments were built between the 26th-dynasty and the Roman period.
– The High Dam: Return to the mainland and drive to Aswan for a view of the High Dam, one of the biggest dams in the world. From there you can enjoy serene views of sacred Lake Nasser.
– Overnight Stay: After that you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Aswan.

Day 3: Free Day in Aswan
Stop At: Aswan, Aswan, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
– Free Day: Today you are free to explore on your own, or take an optional tour of Abu Simbel Temple or the Nubian village.
– Optional Tour to Abu Simbel: You can take an optional tour to the colossal Temple of Abu Simbel which was built by Ramses II of the 29th Dynasty. Saved from the Nile waters, the temples were built out of a sandstone rock cliff and representation of the deities to which each was dedicated is carved on its huge facade. Nearby lies the small Temple of Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor.
– Breakfast & Travel to Luxor: If you will not visit Abu Simbel, you will be transferred to Luxor by train after breakfast.
– Arrival to Luxor: On arrival, our local representative will take you to your hotel in Luxor to stay overnight.
– Optional Tour: You can make city tour in Luxor as optional visit.

Day 4: Luxor
Stop At: Luxor, Luxor, Nile River Valley
– Breakfast: Have a breakfast in the hotel before starting your full day tour.
– The Valley of The Kings: You will go to the West Bank and visit the Valley of the Kings, where you will visit the tombs of various dynasties.
– The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut: Next you will go to the dramatic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahri, one of the most striking monuments in Egypt. Hatshepsut is the famous female ruler of Egypt who posed as a male to gain the throne.
– The Colossi of Memnon: Then you will visit the Colossi of Memnon and admire the two gigantic sitting statues representing Amenophis III.
– Luxor East Bank: Continue to explore the East Bank to see the temples of Karnak and Luxor. After exploring the granite statues of Ramses the Great at Luxor Temple, you can proceed by carriage or bus to Karnak and explore the series of temples that reflect various reigns of ancient Egypt. Walk up the Avenue of the Sphinxes, and visit the Great Hypostyle Hall to see the 134 gigantic columns.
– Lunch: You will have your lunch in a local restaurant.
– Luxor East Bank: Then Transfer to Luxor train station for your overnight train to Cairo. Dinner will be served on board and enjoy sleeper accommodation.

Day 5: Cairo
Stop At: Cairo, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
– Arrival to Cairo: By your arrival to Cairo you will be transferred by your guide to your full day tour.
– Sakkara: Enjoy visiting Sakkara, southwest of Cairo. See the Step Pyramids, the first proper pyramids built for King Zoser, and considered to represent the evolution of the pyramid, from the simple mastaba to the pyramid in its known form.
