Day 1: Welcome to the Cradle of Civilization

Welcome to Cairo , meet and greet in the airport before your transfer to your tour hotel . Check in and time to rest . Then in the afternoon transfer to the Pyramids area to see the amazing Sound and Light show at Giza. Here you will discover the origins of the mysterious pyramids and be transported back in time to over 4000 years ago. After the show return to the hotel and overnight

Day 2: Land of Mysteries and Treasures Galore
Stop At: Pyramids of Giza, Al Haram Str., Giza 12611 Egypt
Breakfast in your hotel and then accompanied by your own personal Egyptologist we are off to visit the Sphinx and the Pyramids . Travel back in time to the Land of the Pharoahs and learn all the secrets of their tombs and the afterlife. Try and solve the riddle of the Sphinx ,

Stop At: The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, Midan El Tahrir Geographical Society Building, Cairo 11511 Egypt
before we head back to the centre of Cairo to visit the amazing Egyptian Museum, a stunning collection of over 30,000 artefacts that allow us to see the progression of Egyptian art throughout the ages.

Then off to the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar to try your hand at a famous Egyptian past time haggling a bargain.

Day 3: Journey down the Nile
Stop At: Luxor, Luxor, Nile River Valley
Pick up in your hotel and transfer to the airport to take your domestic flight ( included ) from Cairo to Luxor . Arrival to Luxor and check in on your luxury cruise

Stop At: Karnak Open Air Museum, You Require a separate ticket within the walls of Karnak Temple, Luxor Egypt
After checking in on your cruise we are off to discover one of the most important religious sites of ancient Egypt, Karnak temple is the largest complex of temples, chapels , pylons and even has it’s own sacred lake

Continue onto Luxor Temple this beautiful structure was built by pharoahs to celebrate the importance of the God Amon Ra it was one of the most important cultural sites of its time.

Day 4: Amazing Thebes
Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt
Breakfast on the cruise boat before setting off to the amazing necropolis of Thebes , here we will start by visiting the underground tombs of the Valley of the Kings , here you will be able to see close up the inside of these stunning tombs whose hieroglyphics are still as colourful as they day they were painted by the ancient egyptians , thousands of years ago. 3 tombs are included in the visit ( not included are Tutankhamon’s Ramses V& VI and Seti I which can be purchased at extra cost )

Stop At: Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, Kings Valley Rd Deir el-Bahari, Luxor 23512 Egypt
Continue onwards to the only temple to celebrate the life of a female pharoah. The temple of Hatshepsut is a fitting monument to this unique woman. Carved into the stunning rock structure of the desert it stands out with its amazing terraced entrance.

Stop At: Colossi of Memnon, Thebes, Luxor Egypt
Lastly before travelling back to the cruise boat we will stop off at the guardians of the necropolis Amenhotep III, built over 3400 years ago they are the only lasting trace of a huge necropolis dedicated to this pharoah . return to the boat

Pass By: Esna Lock, Nile River Links Esna to Aswan, Esna 83811 Egypt
After lunch on board we set sail for Esna where you will be able to watch the boats pass through the lock in order to reach the upper part of the Nile. overnight

Day 5: Battlegrounds of the Gods
Stop At: Temple of Horus, Adfo, Edfu Egypt
Breakfast on board and the a short horse carriage ride away from the boat is Edfu Temple , considered one of the best preserved monumental sites in Egypt. Here is where the historic battle between Seth and Horus took place , your guide will show you the marvels of this enormous complex before taking you back to the boat .

Enjoy some free time on board as the boat sails up stream, admire the amazingly green banks of the Nile , flanked by the arid lands of the Sahara Desert . Watch as villages , farms float by .

Stop At: Temple of Kom Ombo, Nagoa Ash Shatb, Kom Ombo 81611 Egypt
Afternoon arrival to Kom Ombo Temple , these twin temples are unique in the fact they are the only ones of their kind in all Egypt , two exact replicas each dedicated to a different god.

Day 6: Conquering Pharoahs
Stop At: Abu Simbel Temple Complex, Abu Simbel, Abu Simbel Egypt
Early morning start to travel across the Nubian Desert to arrive to Lake Nasser and the Temples of Abu Simbel. Built in honour of the Victory of the Battle of Kadesh , the temple dedicated to Ramses II is over 33 metres high and 38 metres wide , carved into the desert rock and flanked by a smaller temple for his wife Nefertari. The Temples were rescued by the UNESCO from the rising waters of the Lake and moved to their present position . Visit and some free time before travelling back towards Aswan

In the afternoon a ride in a typcial Egyptian wooden sailing boat called a Felucca around the Nile cataracts to see the views that inspired Agatha Christie to write her most famous novel “Death on the Nile”.
