Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVAL IN CAIRO INT. AIRPORT
Pass By: Cairo, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
Upon arrival in Cairo Int. Airport, you will be greeted by our English-speaking guide who will meet you at the exit door then transfer to your selected hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Khan Khalili Bazaar Tour – Overnight Sleeper Train in Luxor
Stop At: Pyramids of Giza, Al Haram Str., Giza 12611 Egypt
Starts at 8:00 am Pick up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza By our guide to start your full day tour of Giza pyramids where you visit the great pyramids – Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos then visit the valley temple where the priests mummified the dead body of King Shephren Here too you will get a glimpse of the Sphinx – the legendary guardian who stands near the huge burial complex with his lion body and the head of King Shephren.

Stop At: The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, Midan El Tahrir Geographical Society Building, Cairo 11511 Egypt
Then continue your day trip to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. It exhibits the most important and precious objects of Egyptian art to the world. It exhibits a rare collection of over 250,000 authentic objects dating as far back as 5,000 years, including an exclusive exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun – A collection of treasures, gold and jewelry that have been buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years before they were discovered in the 1920s during the excavation of his grave (past 2 hours)

Stop At: Khan Al-Khalili, Cairo Egypt
Next, visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. The numerous shops in this district are known for the trade of fine brews, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and much more (1 hour walk).
Then this evening, transfer to the station. For the sleeper train to Luxor (around 10 hours).

Day 3: LUXOR ARRIVAL | LUXOR FULL DAY TOUR
Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt
This morning we will pick you up from Luxor train station, then you will join your Egyptologist guide to discover the big city of Luxor, we will cross the Nile to start our tour of the West Bank of Luxor. Home to the Valley of the Kings, the dusty tombs of this ancient burial place still reveal their secrets today and therefore remain one of the most important archaeological sites in the world.

Stop At: Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, Kings Valley Rd Deir el-Bahari, Luxor 23512 Egypt
Continue to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmose I, who ruled Egypt for around 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (around 1490-1469 BC), the only Pharaonic woman who ruled ancient Egypt.

Pass By: Colossi of Memnon, Thebes, Luxor Egypt
A brief photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, which marks the site of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. These two giant statues standing proud on the west bank are all that remains of the old complex.
Stop At: Temple of Karnak, Karnak, Luxor Egypt
Walk along Avenue of the Sphinx to enter the complex as your guide explains how the massive facade was constructed. As you enter the temples of Karnak, you will see every legacy left by the various pharaohs as the complex grew further. The further you enter the complex, the further back in time you will be, with the oldest ruins dating back over 3000 years.
As you walk through the Great Courtyard to the Great Hypostyle Hall, it’s hard not to be overwhelmed by the 134 columns that tower above you like an ancient forest. At the rear of the complex you will find the sacred lake where centuries ago the pharaohs and their offerings to the gods were purified. After a tour of the resort, you will have additional free time to explore at your leisure.

Stop At: Luxor Temple, Luxor 23512 Egypt
That was once joined to the temples of Karnak by a two kilometer long avenue of the Sphinx, part of which marks the entrance to the temple. Dominated by statues of the great warrior Pharaoh Ramses II, the Temple of Luxor has survived the Nile floods, alien invasion and thousands of years of exposure to the elements.
A purely Egyptian temple, the interior walls and columns are decorated with intricate hieroglyphics that your guide will help you decipher. Learn about how Alexander the Great wrote himself in the history of the Luxor Temple, and see one of the original pairs of obelisks, the second of which now stands on Place de la Concorde in Paris.

Day 4: Explore the depths of the Egyptian countryside and visit the temple of Edfu
Stop At: Tombs of El kab, 80 Km South of Luxor, Edfu 81644 Egypt

At 07:00 am our French guide will pick you up from your hotel and then drive to the village of El Hegz.Walk through this local village, the village of El Hegz, fabulous walks (1h30), visit a beautiful Egyptian village and meet the inhabitants . will see farmers and farms of mango, banana and sugar cane. Then visit to visit the tombs of El Kab and the ruins of the ancient capital of Nekhen of Upper Egypt and the temple of Horus in Edfu, the best preserved temple of the temples of Egypt, then return to the village of EL HEGZ for lunch at the farmer’s house.

Stop At: Temple of Horus, Adfo, Edfu Egypt
Continue to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. The sand succeeded in preserving the temple which turned out to be almost completely intact, during a summer cleared and excavated by Auguste Mariette in the 1860s. The structure of the temple of Edfu was started by Ptolemy III Euergète in 237 and was not completed until the time of Ptolemy XII Auletus in 57 BC. The inscriptions on the walls of the temple present important information about language, myth and religion during the Greco-Roman period. Mostly, the scene of the sacred marriage between Horus and Hathor, the scenes of the founding of the Temples, and the battle between Horus and Seth.After completing you will be transferred to a beautiful place, Bassaw Island, walk on the island (1h30) and visit a beautiful Egyptian village and meet the locals. Dinner at the campfire and overnight at the farmer’s house

Day 5: Aswan
Stop At: Temple of Philae, Island of Agilika, Aswan Egypt
After breakfast, drive to Aswan and on arrival you will visit the temple of Philae, which was erected during the Greco-Roman period and was dedicated to the goddess Isis (mother of the god Horus).

Seeing the close and personal Nubian culture is indeed a beautiful experience. In fact, the Nubian village of Aswan has unique colorful painted houses. It also has a basic but comfortable standard of living and happy smiling people. It will also allow you to enjoy the islands that you will cross. At the Aswan Nubian Village, you will indeed appreciate the simplicity and calm. You will enter the Nubian houses, play and take pictures with crocodiles. The village has many places to buy souvenirs, Nubian crafts and aromatic herbs. Then transfer you to your selected hotel.

Day 6: visit the temples of Abu Simbel – Overnight aboard a sleeper train to Cairo
Stop At: Abu Simbel Temple Complex, Abu Simbel, Abu Simbel Egypt
We leave Aswan in the morning around 6:30 am. This allows us to have a quiet and special tour, then we will be guided with one of our Egyptologist guides and free time before returning to Aswan (around 3 hours drive each way, with around 2 hours at the temples). The temples built by Ramses II at Abu Simbel are one of the highlights of Egypt and have a fascinating history behind them to go with their impressive size. When Lake Nasser was flooded, the final water level would submerge several temples, the most important being Abu Simbel. The temple was therefore completely dismantled and rebuilt higher up on the hill where it stands today. The temple today is a testament to Ramses II and the great building prowess of the ancient Egyptians, as well as modern engineering. After completing your day trip, you will return to your selected hotel.
