Itinerary
Day 1: Luxor – Karnak & Luxor Temples
Stop At: Luxor Temple, Luxor 23512 Egypt
Our Tour Manager will meet you at the Luxor Airport, Train Station or your Local Residence in Luxor and transfers you to your booked hotel in Luxor.
After getting your Lunch our guide will be waiting for you at the Reception hall to start the tour of the eastern side of Luxor
Luxor Temple, this temple founded in Luxor. This temple is not dedicated to one particular god or pharaoh. Instead, it may have been where many of the kings of ancient Egypt were crowned. This temple was built in 1400 BC, mostly by Amenhotep III and Ramesses II. When you stand before the first pylon, you see two enormous statues of Ramesses II that guard the temple. Only one obelisk sits in front of the first pylon. The second obelisk can be found at Place de la Concorde in Paris.
From the first pylon, you enter the Court of Ramesses II. It is here that you can also see the Mosque of Abu al-Haggag, One of the Muslim Spiritual Leaders of the Medieval time. Walk through a colonnade of papyrus columns to the immense court of Amenhotep III. Beyond this are antechambers. One of these was converted into a church by the Romans in the 4th century AD. The walls were plastered and painted with Christian paintings.

Stop At: Temple of Karnak, Karnak, Luxor Egypt
Karnak Temple is the second largest temple complex in the world (Angkor Wat in Cambodia is the largest). For over 2,000 years, starting in 2000 BCE, temples, monuments, and buildings were added to the complex. Approximately 30 pharaohs added something to the Karnak Temple Complex.
What you will See at Karnak Temples:
There are over 25 temples and chapels in the complex, including separate shrines, Sanctuaries, obelisks, and groups of columns all feature accounts of the heroic deeds of the sponsoring pharoah. some of the most prominent sections are:
1- The great Hypostyle Hall, considered one of the world’s great architectural achievements. It is filled with 134 enormous pillars, the highest 70 feet tall, and each about 45 feet around. The hall covers an area of 64,586 sq ft.
2- The Obelisk of Thutmose I, a 22m (71ft) monument, is the only one of four original obelisks that is still standing.
3- The Avenue of the Sphinxes, or Sacred Way, that once stretched the two miles from Karnak to Luxor Temple.

Day 2: Necropolis of Ancient Thebes – Embarkation onboard of Dahabiya
Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt
Morning dedicated to the visit of the necropolis of ancient Thebes, located on the western bank of the Nile: it starts from the Colossi of Memnon, two Sandstone colossi portraying the pharaoh Amenhotep III whom the Greeks exchanged for the divine Memnon; it continues with a visit to some tombs of the Valley of the Kings and Queens, a series of rock tombs inserted in an arid landscape between steep and rocky walls in which the relics of the greatest pharaohs and queens of the history of Egypt were hidden. The morning ends with a visit to the scenic temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir El Bahari and characterized by a series of colonnaded terraces.

After you finished the tout of the West Bank of Luxor you will continue to Esna (50 km) you will embark onboard of an Elegant Dahabiya which will be your residence for the rest of your voyage on the Nile River. After Lunch Start of navigation.
After 4/5 hours we arrive at the village of El Hegez, north of Edfu, where we will spend the first night.

Day 3: El Fauaza Island / El Ramady / Gebel El Selsela / Fares
Stop At: Tombs of El kab, 80 Km South of Luxor, Edfu 81644 Egypt
Departure at first light for El Kab site, about an hour of navigation. El Kab, formerly known as Nekheb, was the center of the cult of the vulture goddess Nekhbet and has interesting tombs dating back to the 18th dynasty. After the visit, we continue with navigation to Edfu, where we will arrive after 3 hours.

Stop At: Temple of Horus, Adfo, Edfu Egypt
In the afternoon visit of the temple of Edfu, the best-preserved archaeological site in the country, dedicated to Horus and built in the Greco-Roman age: the grandiose monumental pillar and two splendid hypostyle halls are extraordinary. Return to the boat and navigation of about an hour to El Fauaza Island where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Fares / Kom Ombo / Harbyab Island
Stop At: Kom Ombo, Kom Ombo, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
Navigation of about 3 hours to the rural village of El Ramady. Disembark and walk along the banks of the Nile to discover the life of the locals whose rhythms and gestures have remained unchanged over the centuries. After another 3 hours of sailing, you reach Gebel El Selsela. After getting your Lunch Disembarkation and visit the site, known in Antiquity as Keanu. The site houses some cave chapels and the Temple of Horemheb, pharaoh who defeated the Nubians and expanded the kingdom south. After another hour of sailing, we reach the village of Fares, where we will spend the night.

Day 5: Harbyab Island / Aswan

After a walk through the village of Fares, the navigation proceeds to Kom Ombo, where you will arrive after approximately 3 hours. After Getting your Lunch In the afternoon visit of the temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris: built in the Ptolemaic and Roman period, it is dedicated to two divinities and characterized by the beautiful hypostyle hall with eight large columns with lotus-shaped capitals.

Continue to the island of Harbyab where you will have a pleasant barbecue dinner.

Day 6: Arrival to Aswan – Visit Temples of Philae
Stop At: Temple of Philae, Island of Agilika, Aswan Egypt
Early Departure for Aswan where you will arrive after 4 hours of sailing. Lunch on board and then visit the Ptolemaic temples of Philae Island: consecrated to the goddess Isis, it is one of the most beautiful and scenographic temples of Egypt, During the 60 year
dismantled and rebuilt on a small island (Agilikia) in order to protect it after the construction of the Aswan dam; the complex, highly spectacular, in addition to the temple of Isis includes other monuments such as the temple of Nectanebo and the elegant kiosk of Trajan.

Stop At: Aswan High Dam, Manteqet As Sad Al Aali, Aswan Egypt
On the way back from Philae Island you will stop over the High Dam which was founded during the rule of Nasser and finished at the beginning of the reign of Sadat,

Disembarkation after breakfast and transfer to do the excursion by bus to Abu Simbel, with a visit to the extraordinary rock temples erected in honor of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari: it is one of the most famous and spectacular places in ancient Egypt, characterized from two cave temples, the most grandiose of which is dedicated to the great pharaoh Ramses II.
Return to Aswan Afternoon available to do a walking tour at the Market of Aswan.
