What to Expect When Visiting Dahab, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt
Explore the South Sinai!
We will show you all the highlights of Dahab and the South Sinai desert.
Visit the most interesting places, but have the comfort of returning to your hotel every night for a good night’s sleep.
Itinerary
Day 1: Wadi Wishwashi & Ras Shetan
Stop At: South Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
We will pick you up at 8 am from your hotel and take our 4 wheel jeep for 1.5 on the road into the Sinai Desert. We will go off the track for a bit to arrive at our hiking point. From there its a 30 minute hike to reach Wadi Wishwashi. You can take a dip into the basin of rainwater if you like, so bring your swim gear! The jeep will bring us to Ras Shitan where we will going to have lunch (included). If you like you can rent snorkeling equipment (20 usd excluded) and have a look at the reefs of the Red Sea. At the end of the day our jeep will bring us back to Dahab and drop you off at your hotel.

Day 2: Snorkeling and Quad bike tour in Wadi Gunai
Stop At: South Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
We will pick you up at 11 am and set direction to the Three Pools. If you like you can go for a snorkel ( 20 usd excluded), or just chill in one of the restaurants. Around 3 pm. we will take the quad bike. It will take us 20 minutes to reach Wadi Gunei. Have a stroll around in this beautiful Wadi Gunei, follow the trail up the mountains for the best view, before we ride our quad bikes back to the Three Pools to have lunch. After this, we will bring you back to your hotel.

Day 3: Colored Canyon
Stop At: South Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
Visit to the Colored Canyon!
We will pick you up at 8 am at the reception of your hotel. Drive 2.5 hrs. Our guide will take you for a beautiful hike into this colorful canyon. Don’t forget to bring your camera! After the hike we will have lunch in the desert and bring you back to Dahab.

Day 4: Glass Bottom Boat & Dinner in the Mountain
Stop At: Dahab, Dahab, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
We will pick you up at your hotel at 2 pm. and bring you to the marina harbor of Dahab. Here you will board the Glass bottom boat that will take you to the amazing Napoleon reef, where you can find Nemo and his friends! This excursion will take approx 1.5 hrs. We will bring you back to the hotel so you can change for the the dinner in the mountains!

We will pick you up at your hotel 45 minute before sunset (our guide will tell you the exact time after the glass bottom boat trip).
The car will bring us to Wadi Roman (20 minutes). Here the Bedouins will prepare our food the traditional way. See how they make their fresh bread on an open fire! After dinner we will relax with a cup of Bedouin tea and look at the stars. At the end of the evening we will bring you back to your hotel

Day 5: Rainbow Canyon
Stop At: South Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
Visit to the Rainbow Canyon!
We will pick you up at 8 am at the reception of your hotel. Drive 2.5 hrs. Our guide will take you for a beautiful hike into the canyon where you can see for yourself why it is called the Rainbow Canyon. The hike will take 1 hour and bring us to Ber el Beria Oasis where we will enjoy our lunch before we will bring you back to your hotel.
Don’t forget to bring your camera!

Day 6: Submarine & Dancing Valley
Stop At: South Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
We will pick you up from your hotel at 10 am to take you to the marine harbor of Dahab. The submarine tour will take you max. 3 meters under the water to have a look at the world famous marine life of the Red Sea. (1.5 hr tour). After this we willl bring you back to your hotel. We will meet you again later for dinner!

We will pick you up at 8 pm and bring you to the Dancing Valley. here we will go to a traditional desert camp for dinner. Enjoy the Tanura dancers, the fire show and the songs of the Bedouins, playing drums.
Around midnight, we will bring you back to your hotel.

Day 7: White Canyon & Salama Canyon
Stop At: South Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
We will pick you up at your hotel at 8 am. Our jeep will bring us to the start of the White Canyon (drive 1 hr) for our first hike. Our guide will show you the most beautiful spots inside this canyon. After an hour hiking you will find yourself in Ain Khudra Oasis. Here you will find the famous Spring of Khudra. Lunch will be served here. Next stop will be the Mushroom Rock ( 20 min drive) Here we will go off road to Salama Canyon. Hike for 30 minutes before the Jeep will bring us back to Dahab.

Day 8: St. Catherine Daytrip & Sunset Quad Biking
Stop At: Saint Catherine, Saint Catherine, Red Sea and Sinai
We will pick you up at 8 am. Drive for 2 hours to visit the second oldest working monastery (first one ins the Vatican in Rome) in the world!! Here you will find Moses Well and the Burning Bush from the Bible. On our way back we will stop to admire the so-called ‘Golden Calf’ in the mountains. Around 2 pm you will be back at your hotel. Our driver will tell you the pick up time for the afternoon trip, sunset quad biking!

We will pick you up 45 minutes before the sunset and take you to our office in town. Here we will take our quad bikes to see some of the best views of Dahab. 20 minute quad biking, 20 minutes in the place, 20 minutes back. After this we will bring you back to your hotel

Day 9: Arada Canyon & Sand Dune
Stop At: South Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
Pick up at 8 am from your hotel. Drive for 1.5 hr with our 4wheel jeep to Arada Canyon. Hike with our guide for 1 hr inside this canyon. Have a look at the 2000 yr inscriptions in Wadi Arada. Drive 30 minutes to Noamis to have a look at 5000 year old tombs. Lunch will be served in one of the bedouin families living in the desert. After lunch a 30 minute drive will take us to Gebl Machroom (‘the mountain with the hole’ or ‘Dinosaur Head mountain’) and Heduda Sanddune which will treat you to an amazing view of the Desert. After this our jeep will bring you back to your hotel.

Day 10: War scene & 12.000 yr old paintings
Stop At: South Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
Pick up at 7 am from your hotel! Drive for 3 hrs to wadi Zalagha and hike for 30 minutes to have a look at a painting in a cave, at least 12.000 yrs old!. After this we will have lunch. the jeep will bring us to 2000 yr old rock carvings, picturing a war scene.

Day 11: Turqouise Cave & Valley of the Inscriptions
Stop At: South Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
We pick you up at 8 am. Drive to Wadi Al Maghareh, where the ancient Egyptians were mining for turquoise. This is documented in Pharaonic tableaus carved into the mountain rock. A 30-minute climb will give us a perfect view of the mining area. One of the rock walls shows a surprisingly well-preserved tableau of a husband, wife and child holding hands. All 3 family members are pictured as being of the same height, which is unique in Faronic times.
Lunch will be served at Wadi Al Maghareh. After lunch we will head to Wadi Mukattab, (which is Arabic for “Valley of Writing”), also known as the Valley of Inscriptions. The Wadi is named after its valley’s many petroglyphs. Nabataean, Arabic, Coptic and Greek inscriptions are abundant.
We will follow the same route that the pilgrims took when they travelled from Cairo and Suez to Jerusalem.
From here we will continue to Wadi Suggarat where we will see more inscriptions, and then head back to Dahab.

Day 12: 12. Temple of Hathor & The Beginning of the Alphabet
Stop At: South Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
Pick up at 7 am from your hotel, Drive 3 hrs (half hr off road) to Serabit El Khadim. Hike for 1 hr to have an amazing view of the ruins of Hathor Temple, the Goddess of Good Things in pharonic times. Lunch. Next stop will be a cave in the mountains where we will see the very first inscriptions ever of our own alphabet. Hike 1 hr through Wadi Lahir to see some more inscriptions. Back in Dahab around 5 pm

Day 13: 13. Gebl el Gouna
Stop At: South Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
Pick up at 9 am from your hotel, Drive for 1.5 hrs to Gebl el Gouna. Climb for 1 hr to have an amazing view of the landscape. Our objective will be the ruins of a natural formed geothermal vent, where the hot air of the core of the earth escaped to the surface, a very unique phenomenon.
Back at the foot of the mountain we will have lunch and relax, and after that we will drive back to Dahab.
