See the Chardonnay and Pinot Noire grapes on the beautiful rolling hills of Champagne. You’ll walk through a vineyard and learn about the different techniques for growing and harvesting Champagne suitable grapes from your friendly and knowledgeable guide!

Stop At: Moet et Chandon, 20 avenue de Champagne, 51200, Epernay France

Tour the impressive cellars filled with millions of bottles of Champagne and do a Champagne tasting at the end of your visit. Please note: While we do have a special partnership with Moet and Chandon they reserve the right to cancel our visit if they are unable to welcome us into their cellars on a specific date. In the rare event that this happens, we will replace the visit at Moet and Chandon with a visit to Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne, which is the favorite Champagne of the French people.

Stop At: Abbaye Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers, Rue de L’Eglise, 51160 Hautvillers France

This Abbey and its Church are part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Benedictine friar named Dom Perignon lived here in the 1600s. Your guide will take you to the Abbey Church to hear his history. Then you’ll visit the graveside of Dom Perignon and thank Dom for the bubbles!

Stop At: Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Reims, 3, rue Guillaume de Machault, 51100, Reims France

More than 800 years old this cathedral is a Gothic gem! It is covered in gorgeous stone carvings on the inside and outside. Your guide will explain its fascinating history and then give you 20-30 minutes to explore on your own and take the souvenir photos that you are craving.

Stop At: Champagne DOMI, 10 rue Bruyere, 51190 Grauves France

Here you’ll meet Stéphane an authentic, and charming, vintner (winemaker) of Champagne. He’ll walk you through the entire process of making Champagne and let you get up close to the wine press and racks of champagne bottles in his cellars. Then you’ll taste 3-4 different Champagne wines with him.

Stop At: Epernay, Epernay, Marne, Grand Est

Epernay is known as the capital of Champagne. Your guide will take you to the heart of the old town and point out several of its most notable aspects. Then you’ll have a full hour of free time to explore the town and eat lunch wherever you like. Your lunch is not included in our tour price.
