The Arc de Triomphe is the biggest arch in the world and the most famous one. Built after the Battle of Austerlitz, the Arc de Triomphe celebrates the victory of Napoleon I’s Grande Armée. Almost 50 metres high, 45 metres long and 22 metres wide, you can get fabulous views from the top down the Champs Elysees, to the Eiffel Tower. It also contains a museum retracing the history of the Arc de Triomphe.
