After lunch, free time on your own to discover the city of Nevers: pass by the DUCAL PALACE (Residence castle of the 15th and 16th centuries of the counts and dukes of Nevers), and the CATHEDRAL of Saint-Cyr Sainte-Julitte (Wich has the unique feature of two opposing choirs, one Romanesque and one Gothic, the cathedral has undergone various restorations, especially after the Second World War when a bombing between 15th and 16th July 1944 caused serious damage to the Gothic nave and chevet. Today you can admire the restored Cathedral and the beautiful contemporary stained-glass windows).
