Itinerary

Day 1: Tbilisi – Borjomi

Stop At: Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, Imereti Region
Walking distance: 8 km, 4 hours;

Difficulty: Easy;

9:00 AM, pick up from Tbilisi. Drive towards Borjomi resort, a gateway city of one of the greenest and largest national parks of Georgia. After lunch register in National Park Administration (Don’t forget to bring your passports!).
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Borjomi Central Park, 50, 9 Aprili Street, Borjomi 1200 Georgia
Borjomi Central Park, where we taste the famous Borjomi spring water and walk 4 km trail towards open air hot Sulphur baths. Of course Bathing there is not mandatory, but highly recommended for its unique experience and proclaimed health benefits.
Duration: 40 minutes

Day 2: Borjomi-Atskuri-Borjomi-Tbilisi

Stop At: Atskuri, Georgia
Hiking distance: 12 km (there and back), 7 hours;

Difficulty: Medium;

9:00 AM, breakfast at hotel. Drive to Atskuri ranger station (27 km from Borjomi), starting point of our hike on Panoramic trail. The trail is quite steep and demanding, with 1000 m ascend in order to reach the final viewpoint, although it is not mandatory to cover it all, as the route is quite enjoyable and offers great views throughout its whole length. Return to the ranger station around 5 PM.
