On the way to Sabaduri Forest, we pass Tbilisi Water Reservoir, also called Tbilisi Sea, and the impressive monument Chronicles of Georgia, known as the Stonehenge of Tbilisi. This history Memorial of Georgia is one of the hidden pearls of Tbilisi. The monument chronicles Georgian history, and Georgian sculptor Zurab Tsereteli created it. The top part of the 30-meter tall columns features kings, queens, and heroes, and the bottom part depicts stories from the life of Christ. We continue the way, and soon after that, the landscapes change. You can enjoy deep beautiful forests on the road before we finally reach Sabaduri. We stop along the way to snap photos of the beautiful scenery.

Winter is the best season to discover Sabaduri Forest. After fresh snow, you feel yourself in a fairytale. You admire scenic and untouched landscapes of snow-covered trees and roads in the wintertime. It’s a perfect place for landscape photography.
