Stop At: Jvari Church, Mtskheta Georgia
Georgia is one of the oldest states in the world, this is a small country, but there are plenty of attractions in Georgia. On this tour, we will go to the eastern part of Georgia in the city of Mtskheta, this ancient capital of Georgia. In a day we will see the Jvari monastery and the main cathedral in Georgia, Svetitskhoveli, Uplistsikhe carved into the rocks and visit the town of Gori and see Stalin Museum.
Our trip will begin at 09:00, our driver and guide will meet you at your hotel.
First, we go to Mtskheta, Mtskheta was the capital of the Georgian kingdom from the 5th century BC. and it is one of the ancient cities of Georgia. The journey takes us to Jvari Monastery, a true architectural masterpiece of the Middle Ages, built on top of a hill. The confluence of the two rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari (Kura) is one of the most famous landscapes of Georgia opening from the monastery.

Stop At: Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Arsukidze, Mtskheta 3300 Georgia
We continue on to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, which is located in the center of Mtskheta, a sacred place for all Christians. Here is the garment of Christ. Built in the beginning of the VI century, this cathedral was destroyed many times during invasions, but each time it was restored again.

Stop At: Stalin Museum, 32 Stalin Avenue Stalin Park, Gori 1400 Georgia
The next steps will be Gori, the birthplace of Stalin. We will visit the Stalin’s house-museum, and the train car. In the Museum we will be able to see unique photos, furniture and gifts of Stalin.

Stop At: Uplistsikhe Street, Uplistsikhe St, Gori, Georgia
The final destination is the cave town of Uplistsikhe, carved into the rocks in the Bronze Age. In the 10th century BC this was one of the largest trading cities in the area. We have a walking tour in this city.
End of tour – return to Tbilisi.
