Itinerary

Stop At: Tsminda Sameba Cathedral, Elia Hill, Tbilisi Georgia

On this tour we will visit the most famous and memorable places in Tbilisi, visit the famous Tiflis baths, take the cable car to the observation deck at the Narikala fortress, and after lunch we go to Mtskheta and see the oldest cloisters of Svetitskhoveli and Jvari.

We begin our journey at 09:00. Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel.

We start the tour with a visit to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, one of the symbol of Georgia and the highest temple of the country.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Metekhi Cathedral, Metekhi St, Tbilisi Georgia

Afterwards we visit the Metekhi temple and the monument of Vakhtang Gorgasali, the founder of Tbilisi. We take the cable car to the Narikala fortress, which is the carte-de-visite of the city.

Then we visit the famous sulfur baths, the most popular Shardeni street, Sioni Cathedral, Rezo Gabriadze’s puppet theater and a clock tower.

Stop At: Jvari Church, Mtskheta Georgia

After the tour of Tbilisi, we will visit Mtskheta. This is the first capital and spiritual center of Georgia. We go up to the monastery of Jvari, a 6th-century temple built on the top of a hill, from where you will discover the most recognizable Georgian landscape, the confluence of the two rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari.

Stop At: Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Arsukidze, Mtskheta 3300 Georgia

The last point of the route is the Svetitskhoveli temple, Georgian kings were crowned and buried here, also, the tunic of Christ is stored here.
