Meet at Kutaisi Airport, transfer to Mestia, Svaneti.
Svaneti is one of the most hard-toreach regions of Georgia shrouded in a multitude of secrets and legends and is a real open-air museum under the sky. Mestia – original and a picturesque corner of Georgia, which surprises with its medieval atmosphere. Svaneti is famous for its Svan towers, distinct character of the Svans, and also is the birthplace of the famous climber Mikhail Khergiani nicknamed “Tiger of the rocks”.

Day 2: Svaneti – Land of Svans, Mestia – heart of Svaneti

Walk in Mestia.
Svan towers are a real symbol of Svaneti. These are unique medieval fortifications in which hid the local residents during the invasion. The towers acted as shelters and in addition, were guard posts which helped the Svans guard their settlement.
